I am a Physician Assistant, certified Reiki Practitioner and the founder & CEO of ALV.
ALV stands for “A Little Vanity”. Our mantra is “Self Love First.” The purpose of ALV is to guide individuals who desire assistance in self discovery, growth, career, travel and overall life. ALV will act as a road map to get you to your destination. The name of the company is special to me, it is named after my toy poodle Vanity. Her name was chosen because at that time in my life- 13 years ago, I gave her what I could not give myself. I spoiled her and loved her the way that I could not spoil and love myself. She was my beautiful “sin”, since Vanity is listed as one of the 7 deadly sins. I was not ashamed of it but why was I ashamed to put myself first? Society can make us feel guilty about making our needs a priority, especially women. It is important, now more than ever to understand that self love is not selfish and that self care is an intricate part of healing; mentally AND physically.
My purpose in starting ALV is to instill that idea into the minds and hearts of as many people as I can and help them become the best version of themselves.
A little care goes a long way! I believe A little Vanity can and will help you get there.
